Mission statement
Earlier musical projects of mine were the "Archangel Orchestra Mk I" (1990) and the "Archangel Orchestra Mk II" (2019).
The more recent version (on this page) did shows in 2019 at the Carlton Club in Whalley Range and at AQL in central Leeds. However, two years of pandemic caused me to reduce the 10-piece band to a quintet. I switched to a new name "Dr Hoppo's Urban Rooftops" and am currently rebuilding under the new name.
This current grouping evolved out of my earlier projects The Archangel Orchestra Mk I and Mk II. I aim to gradually rebuild the larger ensemble - but this time via smaller steps!
